Back from the break and we see what just happened in the women’s tag team match. Sarah Schreiber approaches Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler backstage and asks about WrestleMania. They are confident. Lana and Naomi appears, then Dana Brooke and Mandy Rose, then Natalya and Tamina Snuka, and finally The Riott Squad. Billie Kay appears next and says Carmella is reviewing her resume. Jax says they don’t have time for all this. She storms off with Reginald and Baszler as the other teams argue.
Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke hit the ring to fend off the heels until Lacey Evans joined the fray, an all-out brawl leading into the commercial break.
Predictably, a Six-Woman Tag Team Match ensued following the timeout.
Flair and Baszler paired off briefly before the fight spilled to the floor. Then, referee John Cone called for the bell, stating the latter did not beat the count back into the ring. He awarded the contest to the babyfaces.
WWE official Adam Pearce restarted the match during the break.
Jax downed Brooke, wearing her out with a modified cobra clutch. Brooke fought her way back into the match and made the tag to Rose. The Golden Goddess laid out Evans while Flair flattened Baszler with a spear.
Brooke continued her gutsy fight with Jax, only for The Irresistible Force to deliver a choke bomb and leg drop for the pin-fall victory.
Jax watched on commentary as The Queen of Spades went after the elbow of God’s Greatest Creation. A vicious stomp on the left elbow left Mandy Rose working with only one good arm to fight back. A fierce comeback was not enough as Baszler manipulated the elbow and caught her in the Kirifuda Clutch to win.
Dana Brooke knocked Jax into the steel post as the heel team argued at ringside
Dana Brooke and Mandy Rose declared themselves for the women’s Royal Rumble match in a quick backstage promo before this contest got started.
Shayna Baszler took control of Rose almost immediately but was unable to do her signature arm stomp. Brooke and Nia Jax came in, and The Irresistible Force took her down with ease.
Rose tagged in and had a burst of offense before Jax picked her up for a Samoan Drop. Brooke barely managed to break up the pin. Jax stacked them up in the corner for a running splash.
Baszler tagged herself in and locked Rose in the Kirifuda Clutch for the win. Jax did not look happy.
Mandy Rose made her way to the ring for a match with Shayna Baszler after The Queen of Spades left both her and tag team partner Dana Brooke lying a week ago.
Baszler attacked Rose from out of nowhere, though, leaving the match in doubt.
Brooke hit the ring and demanded a match with Baszler. A brief scuffle gave way to Baszler trapping Brooke in the clutch. Dana countered into a roll-up for the stunning win.
After the match, Rose broke up the clutch that Baszler never released and joined her partner in a double flapjack to the heel.
Shayna Baszler showed a complete lack of humanity as she targeted the left arm of Dana Brooke. Her assault looked bad enough to break the limb in front of Mandy Rose, the woman The Queen of Spades had badly injured not long ago.
Brooke was out of her depth until Baszler got distracted trying to re-injure God’s Greatest Creation on the outside. The distraction almost cost The Queen of Spades the win following a spinning neckbreaker. However, Baszler kicked out and caught Brooke with a knee strike into the Kirifuda Clutch for the win.
Afterward, Baszler pulled in Rose to make her tap out to the Kirifuda Clutch as well.
Raw opened with Charlotte coming out to give her first promo since returning Sunday night to help Asuka win the Women’s Tag Team Championships from Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler. She talked about being in the Thunderdome for the first time and walking in as champion. She said all a friend has to do is ask for her help and that is what Asuka did. She introduces The Empress of Tomorrow as her friend and partner.
Asuka bragged about being a double champion. Charlotte seemed like she was about to ask for a Raw women’s title shot before Jax and Baszler interrupted them. After some trash-talking, Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke came out. They said they want a women’s tag title shot but Charlotte suggests the two teams face each other while she and Asuka watch. Apparently, The Queen has booking power because a ref showed up.
The match got going after the break. Rose and Baszler started for their teams. Surprisingly, Rose took down the MMA fighter a few times and cornered her for some shoulder thrusts. Brooke and Rose were brought in and the former bodybuilder took down The Irresistible Force with a headscissor takeover. Brooke and Rose took down both women with a double crossbody from the apron.
After another commercial break, Brooke hit Jax with a series of forearms. Baszler tagged in and took her down with a shot to the body. She worked over Brooke’s leg. The Golden Goddess hit a few strikes and a suplex as she made a comeback. Brooke tagged in and hit a roundoff splash for a two-count. The match ended when Baszler got the submission win over Brooke.
Dana Brooke def. Shayna Baszler via disqualification after Nia Jax interfered. Brooke was off to a solid start and had Baszler on the ropes, but Jax pushed her off the top rope for the DQ. As Jax and Baszler tried to attack Brooke after the match, Mandy Rose ran in for the initial save, hitting Jax and Baszler with a kendo stick. Asuka then ran in to help run off the tag champions.
Though they will all be teammates on November 22 at Survivor Series, Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke battled Women’s Tag Team champions Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler for the gold this week while fifth teammate Lana watched from the entrance ramp.
Rose and Brooke dominated with two-on-one onslaughts, isolating the opposition and working her over. It worked with Jax and then with Baszler as the babyfaces kept the champions reeling.
Baszler momentarily allowed herself to become distracted by Lana. Brooke scored a roll-up, but The Queen of Spades kicked out, sending Brooke into Lana. Baszler followed with the Kirifuda Clutch for the submission win.
