John Morrison claimed that they only lost their universal championship match to Braun Strowman — when Miz broke a Morrison pin on Strowman — because WWE changed the rules at the last minute, making it so only one of them could win the universal title rather than become co-champions. The duo cited that no other sport changes the rules at the last minute, and they also had to worry about Otis cashing in the Money in the Bank contract at any point. Moments after Rose was in the chair for her interview, Miz and Morrison invited Sonya Deville to the ring. Deville said she was sick of watching Rose get on TV night after night while she has to sit in the back in catering. Deville said Rose does nothing with her opportunities — not winning matches and just making out with Otis by a pool. Rose said that Deville is just mad because she’s all alone, which prompted Deville to say the only difference between them is Rose’s looks which lead to her receiving unfair opportunities. Deville said she was going to rip Rose apart until her outside is as ugly as she is inside. The two then broke down into a brawl before Deville pulled Miz in front of her and ran. Miz smiled at her and Rose slapped him before leaving. Deville has developed into one of the most consistent promos on the entire roster and was great here again.
An irate Corbin charged at Otis to get the match going, taking the fight to Mr. Money in the Bank and the action over with a ringside assault. Mid-match, after Otis had begun his comeback, Corbin went to ringside and grabbed the crown Otis had stolen earlier backstage. He then grabbed a steel chair and used it on Otis, drawing the disqualification. The move didn’t get Corbin off the hook, however, as Otis laid him out in the ring and hit the Caterpillar before celebrating in the ring with Rose. Keeping Otis on TV is important given his status as the briefcase holder, but WWE could have just given him the clean win here since Corbin ended up on the losing end of everything anyway
Mandy Rose appeared on the ‘Tron to provide a distraction, causing Deville to turn into a Woman’s Right from Evans for the pin. Evans and Deville have very good in-ring chemistry as a pair of bruisers, but the cheap ending felt like it derailed everything they’d been building in this match.

The latest addition to the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match would be determined as Mandy Rose and Carmella squared off.
Each woman took turns showing off their athleticism before Carmella caught her opponent with a wicked kick to the face. As Rose seized control. Sonya Deville arrived. She told the story of last year’s Money in the Bank match, when she handed over her spot in the match to Rose, then helped her and The Golden Goddess still managed to lose.
The Pride Fighter threatened to come to the ring for a fight but stopped just in time for Carmella to score the win over her distracted opponent.
After the match, Deville hit the ring and unloaded on Rose. She sent her to the ringside area, threw her into the announce table and flattened her with a running knee to the back of the head. A satisfied Deville made her way up to the ramp as a referee asked for the trainer.
Prior to the match, Mandy Rose ran down Cross, saying she looked like a “cold plate of Thanksgiving leftovers.” Following Cross’ quick win, Rose attacked her from behind before Alexa Bliss ran in to make the save, eventually hitting a double DDT with Cross on Rose before the tag partners celebrated with a hug.
Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose are in the ring. Rose says just one of them will be allowed in the women’s MITB Ladder Match. They both decide on Rose and they seem to be on the same page.
For as little fanfare or expectations this match had coming in, the good news is that the match wasn’t a train wreck. Ember Moon successfully returned from a six-month injury break and connected with an Eclipse off the top rope on Mandy Rose along with a couple other cutters. The Riott Squad received strong booking throughout and teamed up for a series of eliminations until Dana Brooke rallied to eliminate Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott. Logan appeared to have the match won after eliminating Sonia Deville and Asuka in succession, but Carmella dove back into the ring from where she was hiding and eliminated Logan with a super kick.
The SmackDown women’s champion made Deville tap in this non-title affair with the Asuka Lock. The finish was a callback to what took place on Sunday at Fastlane, with Mandy Rose inadvertently pulling down the apron causing Deville to slip before she got trapped in Asuka’s finisher. Rose and Deville argued on the way to the back.
After causing calculated distractions early on, Sonia Deville went on to accidentally cost Rose in this short and uneventful match. Deville pulled the ring skirt onto the apron in order to grab a kendo stick from underneath. Seconds later, Asuka reversed Rose into the ropes which caused her to stumble. Asuka followed with a stiff kick to the chin for the 1-2-3 to defend her title. Rose shook off multiple attempts by Deville to apologize after as the two walked up the ramp
Just five days before a championship opportunity at Fastlane against Asuka, Mandy Rose was accompanied to the squared circle by Sonya Deville for a match with longtime nemesis Naomi.
Naomi started hot, but a distraction from Deville opened her up for a running knee from Rose, who scored the win in a time-strapped match.
After the bout, the heels made their way up the ramp until Asuka’s music played and the SmackDown women’s champion appeared.
The Empress of Tomorrow sent Deville into the stage and pummeled Rose before acknowledging former partner Naomi to close out the segment.
